Katarzyna Ignatowicz-Dębska is an experienced litigation lawyer specializing in disputes with financial institutions. For many years, she has successfully represented consumers in cases involving foreign currency-indexed and denominated loans (so-called “Swiss franc loans”), as well as in disputes concerning unauthorized payment transactions, effectively protecting the rights of injured clients.
As the Leader of the Litigation Law Team, she coordinates the work of lawyers, combining deep legal expertise with strategic management of complex proceedings. She represents clients in court and pre-trial disputes, particularly in consumer, financial, and compensation cases.
Her practice also covers inheritance law and real estate law. She conducts inheritance proceedings, including confirmation of inheritance acquisition, division of inheritance, and property settlements among heirs, as well as adverse possession cases. She combines extensive experience in complex property proceedings with a personalized and empathetic approach to each client.
For many years, she provided comprehensive legal services to the largest rail freight operator in Poland—one of the biggest in Europe—gaining valuable experience in advising large business entities.
Katarzyna Ignatowicz-Dębska is the author of numerous publications on consumer protection and liability for damages. She regularly shares her knowledge and experience through educational and pro bono initiatives organized by professional associations and universities.
