Katarzyna Kosicka-Polak is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MKZPartnerzy, an attorney-at-law, strategic advisor and entrepreneur. She combines highly specialised legal expertise with management experience, business judgement and the ability to lead complex projects requiring responsibility, discretion and precise decision-making.
She supports business owners, management boards, investors and family entrepreneurs in matters of strategic importance for business security, continuity and growth. She advises on M&A transactions, investment processes, legal risk management, succession planning, asset protection, ownership governance and Family Office projects. She works with clients who expect not only reliable legal analysis, but also partner-level support in making ownership, management and investment decisions.
Her advisory work is strategic and practical. Katarzyna Kosicka-Polak does not limit her role to identifying risks. She helps design solutions that support the growth, stability and predictability of her clients’ businesses. By combining legal, commercial and ownership perspectives, she effectively leads projects involving multiple stakeholders, negotiations and the assessment of long-term legal and financial implications.
She has significant experience in M&A transactions, including sell-side mandates, in sectors such as e-commerce, media, luxury goods, energy, photovoltaics, real estate and outdoor advertising. She has led due diligence teams, prepared companies for sale processes and supported clients in projects requiring advanced legal analysis, efficient coordination, conscious risk management and a strong understanding of ownership interests.
Together with the Corporate Law Team at MKZPartnerzy, she advised on a transaction between two of the largest companies operating in the premium outdoor advertising market. The transaction, announced in 2025, was described as the largest transaction in the history of the Polish outdoor advertising market. This project confirms the firm’s experience in handling complex, multi-stage business transactions, including transactions between direct competitors, and strengthens the strategic advisory practice for entrepreneurs, business owners and investors developed by Katarzyna Kosicka-Polak as Managing Partner of MKZPartnerzy.
MKZPartnerzy also provided legal support in the sale of 100% of the shares in a major Polish fashion company. The firm’s experience in e-commerce, luxury goods, media and advertising is an important part of the transactional practice and advisory offering for entrepreneurs developed by Katarzyna Kosicka-Polak.
A significant part of her practice involves advising entrepreneurs on succession and ownership matters. She supports clients in organising business structures, protecting assets, planning the transfer of businesses to successors and creating legal solutions that safeguard business continuity and relationships between family members, shareholders and key people within the organisation.
She also advises on Family Office projects, covering a comprehensive approach to wealth management, ownership structures, investments, succession and the legal security of entrepreneurial families. In this area, she draws on her experience in transactional, corporate, compliance, real estate and regulatory matters.
Katarzyna Kosicka-Polak also has extensive experience in media law, advertising law, intellectual property and creative projects. She advises some of the largest digital and outdoor advertising companies in Poland. She is a Co-Founder of My Way Studio Sp. z o.o., a company producing feature films and documentaries. She has advised on Polish and international film productions, as well as projects involving culture and intellectual property.
She is actively involved in the professional self-government of attorneys-at-law and in legal education. After serving two terms as a judge of the Disciplinary Court at the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law, including as Vice-Chair of that Court, she was appointed as a judge of the Higher Disciplinary Court at the National Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. She is also a lecturer and examiner at the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law in administrative court proceedings and construction law and teaches in the postgraduate programme “Law and Management in the Fashion Sector” at Lazarski University.
She is an Approved Compliance Expert (ACE) and Approved Whistleblowing Officer (AWCO). She completed the Executive MBA programme at WSB University and the Executive MBA Powerful Leadership Program, developing her expertise in leadership, change management, managerial finance, communication and team building.
